The instrument measures space radiation fluxes. The energy ranges, size and mass of the instrument can be modulated depending on the orbit of the future missions.
- 5 years of EPT observations (Annual Report 2017-2018)
- Radiation belts during geomagnetic storms observed by EPT (Annual Report 2019-2020)
Moreover, a new instrument is developped on the basis of an improvement of the EPT: 3DEES. The goal was that the angular direction of the particles can also be measured.
